One of our herd bucks, Chavez, was from Nebraska however the buck's parentage originated in Texas.  He had a wonderfully delicious soft texture to his coat, like ice cream, that made me as a spinner and fiber person almost drool.   He sired some terrific kids.

This is his son who was our last year’s herd buck, Chaucer.  He is 3 now and still has a really nice soft coat.   He is being replaced this next season with one of his sons.

Our first herd buck was Chubakka.  Some of our small herd are out of him. He had a soft coat and was good natured.  His kids seem to have inherited those things from him.

Chubakka was a registered buck we acquired from DMI Angoras with fine ringlet fleece. This picture was taken when he was 1 and he developed quite a set of horns.   You did good Chuey!

These are a set of twin bucks. Baby goats are soooo cute. We mark their feet with color to match their moms for ID.
